I would wait until you go back to school and see how she acts. It's easier to tell how someone is feeling in person, instead of text messages. And then just take it from there. Don't *try* to steer her away from the guy she's with, because she probably won't like that. If you're there for her, when he most likely won't be forever, she might fall for you for real.
