Mastercard question!? vannillla gift card? ?

i got this vanilla pre paid mastercard for christmas and it was so i could go online with it, however i tried to order my jewlery from bodycandy and it says the card was declined. i has enough money on it and everything... whyd this happen? and what does for electronic use only mean? ( yeah i dont know anything about mastercards) haha
